Striker
and I thought this morning of some of the achievements in that time.
1. Beat the Mags home and away in the same season.
2. Beat Man U at Old Trafford.
3. Beat Everton at Goodison
4. Took a team to Wembley for a Cup Final.
5. Beat Mourinho's Chelsea in a league game at Stamford Bridge, the only team to achieve such a feat.
6. Stayed up despite being bottom at Christmas.
7. Stayed up despite having only 1 point from first 8 games.
8. Won a Monday night game.
There have been a few disappointments along the way but they are completely outweighed by the achievements to date.
Here's hoping for a few more monkeys off our backs in the next instalment.
Thank you Gus.

Some very good points, it has been frustrating and maddening at times during his time in charge but I think we are heading the right direction albeit slower than we would all probably like. We need to stick with him and hopefully him and congers can target and secure the right type of players to work in his system.

he might not be everyone cup of tea but one thing is for certain we are in a better place with 12 months of gus than we would have been with either of the last two managers.

Haway man, he's shite don't you know - just read this board after every game we don't win.

Should have won Champs Lge; League Cup; The Masters; Wimbledon; The Boat Race; Grand National at least - he's been here a year now you know, fella!!

andm people question his tactics when he still has a lot of Brucies buys.....he turned Cattermole into a half decent player as well...

All of that is fine but we are still battle relegation yet again, can't see us looking very safe at the end of our next few games.
