70s or 80s I don't know but as a kid I liked -
Scooby doo (before went shit)
Captain caveman
Hong Kong phooey

Super ted was my favourite. Also loved trapdoor
There's been a few threads on in the last week or so that really made me sad thinking back to an easier life

Loved Dogtanion and the muskahounds. Also
Bertha.
Raggy Dolls.
Poddington Peas.
Centurions.
Captain Planet.
Get along Gang.
Willie fog 80 days around the world.
Willow the whisp.
Terrahawks

Will some of the crap the kids watch now stick with them like all these classics have with us. !!

Sick of Doc McStuffins etc, I'm giving the bairn a cartoon education.

Last night we sat and watched 'The Family Ness' and tonight she's chosen 'Muppet babies', tomorrow will be 'Dungeon and Dragons' leading into a weekend of 'Mysterious cities of gold'.

Forgot how good they were!

Utter shite.

1970's was the golden era of cartoons:

Wacky Races & spin-offs
Hong Kong Fooey
Hair-Bear Bunch
Scooby Doo
Captain Caveman
Pink Panther
Mr Benn
etc

Batfink
Pole position
Teenage hero mutant turtles
Jase and the wheeled warriors
Tailspin
Ewoks
We were spoiled with the amount of quality cartoons back then..

Can't beat them.

Raggy Dolls, Bananaman, Visionaries, Jimbo & The Jet-Set.

Still got the pilot episode of "Visionaries" on VHS in the cupboard.

He-Man
Tranformers (and the best film of all time, Transformers the 1986 Animated Movie)
Ulysses 31
Pigeon Street
Thundercats
Centurions

List goes on.

Batfink
Pole position
Teenage hero mutant turtles
Jase and the wheeled warriors
Tailspin
Ewoks

We were spoiled with the amount of quality cartoons back then..

Class.

Duck Tales
Chip and Dale.
Also had a soft spot for "Gummy Bears".

And The Raccoons.

And MASK.

Used to watch Arabian Nights and Tin Tin when I was wa kid in the 80s. Used be on our betamax.
Scratter.

Arabian Knights (see what I did there?) was chos. "Size of an Elephant".

Uh oh. It's Danger Island next.

Loved watching Dungeon & Dragons, Thundercats, Ulysses 31, BOTP, etc

Have to admit I have the Boxset of Thundercats, Transformers and Dungeons & Dragons

Think the late 70s and 1980s was the golden age of cartoons. Sometimes when I am bored I look at the Disney XD and Cartoon Networks and completely baffles me what kids watch today. Although I do admit that my guilty pleasure on a Saturday morning is watching Marvel's Avengers Assemble and Superior Spider-Man
