Sigurdsson generally was quite disappointing, his all round contribution was very poor and unless he managed to score there was absolutely no point on him being on the pitch. Not really sure why, just didn't seem to work for him. Good enough player to be at that level IMO, maybe just wrong club at the wrong time.

Competing against about 7 other attacking midfielders for a place in the side and then for some space and chances when on the pitch. They're in the same mess now.

He's f***ing average man. He just runs up and down the wing like a headless chicken and does nothing productive.

He was quality for spurs in his prime man, key part of a very very good team

Amazing post

Average equals Jordi Gomez and will Buckley

Spot on mate, thi thread has attracted the usual Spurs hating numpties that chat complete and utter shite,
Gylfi Sigurdsson was poor for Spurs, would you not have him in your team?

Absolute rubbish that is mate, he was far from rubbish at Spurs he was a quality player, he was just played out of position on the left when it was obvious to many of our fans that he needed playing behind the striker to get the best out of him.

Many Spurs fans were gutted when he was allowed to leave for Swansea, same with Lewis Holtby both players were creative and could pick out a pass to split a defence, Spurs were left with loads of good midfielders but none that are that creative in the final third of the pitch.

Spurs seems to be the wrong club for a lot of good players

Spurs are no different to most other clubs, other than that they buy more players than most other clubs, so they will probably have more failures than some other clubs, over the last 5 years Spurs have finished 4th 5th 4th 5th and 6th, and Spurs sit 5th in the all time Premier League table so they must have been the right club for lots of the players that they have paid out for, its not like Sunderland have ever wasted any money on players is it mate.

I thought pace was what's needed from this team? We must be the slowest team in the league. Any help would be good.
