i always laugh at the commentators when the mags are on live at sid james park
the same comment comes out every game " its unusually quite here at st james's" then i turn round to my son and say thats because its always quite but the media have this ideaa that theres 55,000 screaming jawdees every other week
Hmmmm... quite

I was at the match in Newcastle last Saturday and I can honestly say it was probably the worst home atmosphere I've ever been to, I didn't hear them sing one song all afternoon.

Leicester want to add 10,000 seats to the KP stadium and it got me wondering if that was a good thing or not as usually the bigger the stadium the worse the crowd.

The best atmospheres I've been to this season were:

1) West Brom
2) Norwich
3) Hull (League Cup)
4) Stoke

All more intimate grounds than 40,000+ stadia. To be fair Newcastle haven't got a lot to crow about but it was like a library in there.

They were dreadful the other week when I was there. Totally outsung by us even when we were losing.

They only piped up a little after their goal, and sang 'you're going down with the villa' a couple of times. Even at that it was only the lot to the left of us.

Attendance was 50,151 So why do they write this shit

Saturday’s flat atmosphere at St James’ Park despite an impressive gate of more than 50,000 turning up to back Newcastle United – prompted plenty of debate.

Did Leicester just take a Ford Escort of fans up ?

You can only assume the 53,000,000 screaming Geordies in the ground and the 400,000,ooo outside without tickets have learned to scream silently then
