I personally don't believe the left are interested in building coalitions in the party to try and keep it unified. If you are not 100% behind Corbyn you are tory scum to them

More interested in winning the battle in there own party than beating the tories

I voted Corbyn and would consider myself a New Labourite so I disagree with your post.

None of the candidates will win the next election. Corbyn's election will show that the membership disagree with austerity and back the Keynesian economics that New Labour employed from 97-10 which saw investment in health, education and other infrastucture.

None of the other three candidates fill me with confidence and I dont trust any of them to challenge austerity. Corbyn will either resign or be overthrown after 18months - 2 years and hopefully his succesor will put forward a New Labour agenda with investment and compassion at its heart.

The vast majority of Corbyn's disciplines hate anything and everything to do with new labour

Do you read the comments section on any article about Blair, Brown, Prescott, Johnson, Blunkett etc

All a disgrace to the party who should have fucked off and joined the Tories

And if you read the actual articles themselves, you could say that all of New Labour hate Corbyn!

I think they all care for the party and can forsee what a car crash will ensue

The left of the party done well out of 'new labour' minimum wage, massive and much improved public services, winter fuel allowance, free tv licenses for over 75's. The way members of thst cabinet ate noe treat by these new members is a total disgrace. To call them tories etc is ridiculous and insulting

Everyone did well from those things, not just the left.

New Labour can be proud of every achievement in your list, and the fact the economy was booming under them.

But I'm sick of seeing the party getting hammered by the Tories for 'bankrupting' the country; a pile of shite which has made monsters of Labour, who are being scapegoated for the Tories' ideologically-driven programme of austerity.

In the light of that, Labour's abstention in the austerity vote was a disgrace. It's time to stand up and fight back, and Corbyn's the man to lead the fight in my opinion.

But they are more left wing ideals right??

If a Corbyn lead government did them I doubt you would have come back with the same response
I'm not questioning the policies, of course New Labour did some good things, but it seemed you were suggesting that I should vote for New Labour candidates because I'm better off because of what Blair brought in. With that logic, 99% of the population would have voted for Labour in the General Election.

Do you really think Corbyn with all the baggage he brings is the man to lead a unified party in the fight against the tories?

I have not suggested you vote for anyone

The point I am making is thd left did well out of new labour yet now very senior members of thst administration ate treat like shite by these Corbyn supporters and labeled Tory Scum etc and are described as disgraces to the party

Whilst new labour were not socialists and never pretended to be they were certainly not tories or disgrace to the party.

Like I continually say if you are not a 100% dye in the wool out and out Corbyn supporter you are now getting made to feel like scum in your own party

Blair made a deal with the devil with Iraq.

The whole party needs an oil change to get rid of the blairites, it's currently right of thatcher.

I'll be happy if he reminds Labour of what they're for. Whupping Boris or Gideon in 2020 would be a bonus.

You are to intelligent not to be able to see where this is all going to go. Far to much baggage and will probably do more harm than good in the long term for that movement

Most are more bothered about winning the battle in the party than anything else imo

So Miliband era was right of Thatcher? Obviously the unions aren't doing there job properly there
