He's good in pretty much everything he does. The way Only Fool's and Horses should have ended (auction) was right. Just a shame they couldn't resist special after special. Almost waters down the overall quality of the show. The Open All Hours special could do the same if they don't stop doing more. The first special was okay. A sort of nice amble down memory lane of old comedy, but what really made the show was Ronnie Barker's performance. Without him the show is empty.

Its just the novelty has worn off the character.This happens as you get older/survive a bit longer.What was funny 10 years ago,is not funny,to you,now.I used to think last of the summer wine was funny.I'd rather do 5 years solitery than watch it now.
