Does sport matter first before anything?

I'm expecting both the itv and BBC regional news shows to kick of with a match. News should start with the most important issues first that's why it's called the news, not "Hello and welcome to Look North, the headlines, this evening there's a match on with a team from our region playing"

I've had to stop me telly coming on to BBC news when they're playing. Horrendous.
