Hes spot on there.
To be honest what progress have we made under Poyet, we are currently bottom of the league 7 points adrift, which was about the same when he came in.
He got us going in December/January and failed to buy anybody who would improve us. Maybe Alonso..... Hes failed, big time.

He spent a shit load of money of dross. We lost twenty odd games in the first season in the PL and lost 7 in a row before he jumped. A monkey could've done what he did in bringing us up that season.

There's a lot up for debate in his article depending upon your point of view.
However I don't think you can argue with the above quote. We're a brittle team, devoid of confidence, they remind me of the 19 pointers. On paper (and especially f***ing wages) they're better than than their league position says.
But week after week we see them unable to raise themselves for 'must win' games. Look at the amount of points the teams at the bottom have taken from us ALL SEASON.
They look defeated from kick off. There is no belief or confidence in the team. They've given up before the first whistle is blown.
