Good day out yesterday after deciding not to bother with the match.
Food and a drink down Wild Fire Pizza before heading up to the Kings Arms, Museum Vaults and Ship Isis. Went to Street Bar to catch the last half hour of the match and then up to the Gunners and Live Lounge before home.

I had a pale ale in the Ivy House, before the previous home game.
It's called Junkyard IPA (6% abv) from the Anarchy Brew Company.
The beer was cloudy and tasted similar to a German Wheat Beer.

lovely this afternoon. Me and mrs Lugs had a few in the Keel Tavern sitting in the sunshine, Botanist next door was rammed. Then went to Peacock which wad also packed, Fire Station chocka then went to Fitzys which waa also busy.
This area of the town is turning into something huge for 40 plus age during the day, class!!!

Great news.... the worm is turning ....most of them would be on the metro a year ago heading into Newcastle ,now they are stopping here and we are getting a great drinking area with great bars and a boost to the town and it's economy.
Plus another opening soon down from that area next to Dicksons pork shop.

Very busy in Live Lounge Fri night for good Band, not quite so busy Sat with one not quite so good (imo)
