so are the mags free to get trains / metros to sunderland and drink around the town with no walls / escorts / cotton wool ??

are we gonna clap on 17 minutes or what ever it is?

can I expect to see ant and dec in the vaults?

You can expect a lot more bother than at their place if that is the case. As I said previously, in my opinion, the only thing stopping it was the fact people didn't know what was going-on.

If they try the ridiculous policy again, people will be wise to it and there will be fairly large-scale disorder

According to the police they will be able to come and go and drink how they please, just like at there place but with a big police presence. Most will probably just stick to routine and get off at St Peters and the amount of police that will be there it will just end up being an unnoficial escort.

is that official like? so we wont have to walk round the back of the deaf club and over the bridge?

not that im bothered like, will just seem strange with no wall and that. always seems to be an absolute army of police officers around sheepfolds anyway, so cant see it kicking off. will be interesting in other parts of town though, people being suspicious of infiltrators and that

Just going off what the police said after the last Derby. They will probably come up with some bullshit excuse and shut sheepfolds though but say it has nothing to do with the Newcastle fans

Not this shit again.

Lock the unwashed feckers up and herd them like cattle. We don't want them withing a 10 mile radius nevermind share a pint with them.

Hope it's policed as normal for a derby at our place. With our town centre being a lot smaller than theirs if it was to kick off it would likely be tens times worse because people would be piling out of bars all over the place, which are nearly all next door to each other unlike through there where the bars are largely spread out. Would make for a shit, edgy atmosphere before the game.

Police are tossers if they allow free roam again and I'll be convinced they're just doing it in the hope it will go up so they can say "told you so" to both clubs.

They got lucky in December that the bother remained relatively small scale compared to what it could have been, especially down Bath Lane after the match where I was. Luckily only pockets from both sides got involved, if all those who were in pubs like The Forth had have fancied piling out it would have been bedlam with the numbers in the pubs round there and the numbers we had walking down.

It will all depend on what the mags fancy doing basically. Ive heard loads about how they are much more organised etc so if they pull together a big squad and head through to the city centre together there will be loads of bother (for reasons people have said - bars, size of the place etc). However, if they dont fancy it and just come through in small groups like our lot did then I dont think there will be much bother.

Edit: Actually they might just all fancy a quiet pint down the avenue.

You are much more likely to get in bother if you arent in a football shirt (although you will look like a bit of a nob ;))

More likely people will be shelling out for court costs
:lol:Just wondering, my dad isn't keen on me wearing one as he knows what mags are like. But I wouldn't mind wearing my porterfield one

Think there's maybe a chance that skunks without tickets may travel across for a few friendly beers in our town centre if the OB are going to let them do as they please. I'll be on look out for furniture lorries

Had this gonk of a kitchen salesman come out who was basically the hardest man ever to come out of Newcastle! Seen my Safc shirts on the stairs wall and then spent the next twenty minutes telling me how we are all going to get our heads kicked in at our place, they are as organised as the SAS, have routes planned out and are basically are going to run riot before, during and after the game. Have decided I am going to string him along for as long as possible until he realises I have no intention of buying a cupboard door never mind a kitchen off the daft spenk.
