Did anyone else buy it? I had all of the Island samplers - brilliant value and quality!

Only bought the 2. Bumpers, and then El Pea. Loved Jimmy Cliff singing Going Back West. Also Quintessence - Jesus, Buddha, Moses, Gauranga - great memories. Records a bit scratched now. Dansette were a bit basic as far as record players went.

I've got 'Bumpers' still kicking around somewhere I think. Might go and have a dig around to find it. Probably unplayable now anyway but brings back a lot of memories.
 
This is my era but strangely i've never heard of this album ?
At least 4 or 5 bands on there i have never heard for 40 yrs.

Tons of sobs , In the court of the crimson king ,
There was a classic blues compilation album i had with mayall , mac etc on it , can't remember the name , think blues was in the title , anyone know ?
Think it had tracks like " shake your moneymaker " on it.
