The hiatus in the rise in global temperatures could last for another 10 years, according to new research.

Scientists have struggled to explain the so-called pause that began in 1999, despite ever increasing levels of CO2 in the atmosphere.

So, was it exaggerated or is this all just a big stroke of luck that delays the inevitable?

The scientists do seem to be struggling with this one.
They are like. The other day there was something on that it could be an increase in the Sun's activity that could be causing the rise in global temperature?
Still it's best to control emissions as even if they are not having the amount of effect that some say they are it will only be a matter of time before they do I believe.

The poisoning of the oceans through acidification is just as much of a problem.

What about all the extreme weather events since then? Down to God?

Global warming my arse! Global bollocks that's what it is, the planet's been changing for millions of years, are we so f***ing arrogant to think that we can change that? the planet would just shake us off and carry on as before, the only thing that would be lost would be the human race and that's nothing for any other species to get upset about.

A planet is a pretty big and complex system. There's a whole shit tonne of "buffering" systems where excess heat, pollutants and general shite is stuck away somewhere to be dealt with later, its how the world managed to become stable enough for life to appear despite being a bucking volcanic rock hurtling around a somewhat unpredictable thermonuclear explosion. The problem is when these buffers are overwhelmed they'll go hard and suddenly - when the stratosphere stops being able to mange pollutants in chains of free radical reactions, when the sea's global temperature as opposed to local starts to rise and when the sea ph drops to far for phytoplankton to metabolise dissolved co2 you are all going to die. Best of luck.

Or we could to arrogant enough to think that we haven't done damage to the planet with all the shit we are, have pumped into the air.

Lets hope it stops us building any more of those stupid f***ing inefficient turbines and wind farms. A f***ing expensive blight they are, and next to useless. Another way to fleece the public into higher energy charges.

RIP Earth. Struck down in its prime by laziness of thought and deed.

Like I said, if we have caused damage to the earth, it will simply eject us, no loss to the planet, it's our existence we're worrying about, not the planet, the planet will continue to exist long after we've gone.
