Pretty much my opinion. 10 men from 2 fire crews may have been excessive though.

True. They did need a Stihl saw, a disc cutter and a masonry drill. I'm not sure all fire engines carry them as standard.

Pretty sure they'll have had to pay for that , my dad has had a couple of call outs where his fishing boats got jammed under ladders at low tide and needed to be pumped out - had to pay several hundred pounds
