Not exactly a 'drift away' style album but had the Royal Blood album on me headphones last night and it sounds class. The production is spot on.
Same with the Rage Against the Machine debut, the guitars come from all over if you have a good set of cans

Spiritualized have been mentioned already but for head phones Pure Phase is their best album. Jason Pierce did two separate mixes, one for the left channel and one for the right channel. Still sounds superb today with what appears to be panning between left and right but he didn't use any.
