Can you use iCloud to back up your entire music library? Even things that you haven't *ahem* purchased from iTunes?

I've got a good 100GB+ of Grade A albums all tagged to perfection and I'd hate to lose them should my laptop decide to perish.

You have to use iTunes match.

standard iCloud wont backup music, as above you need to pay £20 a year for iTunes Match. It is well worth it if you have a decent amount of music saved in iTunes, it'll make it availible to stream on all of your apple devices too.

So iTunes match backs up your iTunes and iCloud only backs up your iPhone or iPad?

I pay £24 a year and all my music is in the cloud. Doesn't matter if it was purchased on iTunes or not.
