Dear wise SMB,

Zoopla and rightmove are rather frustrating. Everything decent has gone or seems to have been a made up property. I have a budget of 1500 and ideally would like a house in the burbs for a commute into London bridge of less than a hour. If secondary schools are within say 3 miles that would be perfect.

Wish I knew the city better so I'm hoping someone out there can pm me some info on decent property agents.

Any info as always about Hong Kong i can offer in exchange.

Nick

£1500 p/m?

Seen loads on Rightmove and Zoopla like. Also looking to move down there.

Tubing it like or driving?

Enfield is canny, enfield chase even better

Direct train to London Bridge iirc edit only to moorgate

Bexley not too bad

Amazing isnt it? Property waiting lists in London yet up here loads of houses up for sale. You almost wonder whether it would be cheaper to buy a house up here and commute on a Monday and return home Thursday/Friday. Anyone do this?

Will be tubing with the car parked up for the weekends mate. Seems the property market is super fast moving. Planning on going there next wed and Thursday now and will just wait for a new listing to come up and then pounce on it. I'm over this now. Just want to say I will have that one.

Thought about it purely for the football but will do my best to do the away games and 1 home a month.

Pm @Wilfy, he'll get something booked in our diary.

Serious?

Thanks. I have looked at this area and it's not out of the budget. It's just finding a property agent who is interested in doing a deal in a week or two....not tomorrow. Reckon I just go there and knock on the door.

Which? Bexley? Or Enfield?

No direct train from Enfield, my mistake. What type of property do you need?

Yeah, unless you are standing in front of them with a cheque, they won't give a flying fuck about you

Tomorrow 9am boss.

Are you a "lolex" watch seller in Tsimshatsui?

Ideally a semi @ 1500 pm. Less than an hour to the bridge and if a secondary school near perfect.

Nail on head. Going to go there wed and throw cash around. Cheers mate. I'm going to stop looking until tues night when I'm in London.

What about St Albans? Direct Thameslink train to London Bridge in 40 mins. Well located.
Will take a look at this. Thanks.

Welling on the Bexley line is ok, with a decent community feel about it and thousands of semis

I work for a property management company.

I'll have a look for you in the morning as we specialise in property in London.

...and references.

Im sure that rain doesnt go to London, nearest stations are on the micky mouse line to Watford which is why its so cheap. Itd mean a bus or drive to a London bound station (£10 parking per day iirc).
