I'm struggling to think who would have been offended.

Even a 'militant atheist' like me finds decisions like this bizarre.
We get served up plenty about Dewali and Eid. God forbid Christians might get a look in at Christmas.

Definitely should not have been banned.

People need to see what the brainwashing of children by religious fanatics looks like so we can stop it before it leads to more violence and repression
More change the world bollocks from resident Corbynites.

If I took my kids to the cinema and an advert like this came on I'd expect them to treat it the way they treat all other information they're given. Critically. The 'power' of prayer doesn't even stand up to a minimal amount of scrutiny.

The decision to ban just gives the church a victim card to play.

The report says the advertisers have a policy of no religious or political adverts accepted. That's absolutely fine with me.

This.

That suits me.I don't want this crap shoved at me.Especially when i'm paying for entertainment.
Do the BBC still do god slots on TV and radio ? They did'nt ask me if that was okay. I'd be happy to see that stopped.

The same advertisers offered the Church a discount for their advert earlier in the year

High principle indeed.
