Has to be the trombone. A long handled instrument that takes a lot of effort to play and makes a farting noise.

When I was a young 'un, I was in a colliery band and learned to play the majority of brass instruments...

Trumpet
Cornet
Baritone
Euphonium
Tuba

Could never get the hang of the trombone though, to used to instruments with valves, not much good figuring out the slide combinations.

Then when I was 13 had tonsils out and for some reason could no longer play the trumpet or cornet and was stuck with the Euphonium. Started to hate that instrument with a passion at 13/14 the thing was nearly bigger than I was!
 
You've clearly never heard Harry Hill doing the solo off 'I Want To Break Free' on trombone.
 
Got to be a Euphonium or the Serpent - can you imagine having to lug them around the gig circuits?
