SAFC bid 13m Euros = £9.1m
Release clause = 17m Euros = £11.9m
According to the Turkish Football.com article, Sow is due to earn 1.4m Euros next season = £980,000 p.a (£19k per week approx.)
If the claim that the money is available for transfer fees but SAFC are restricted by FFP wage restraints, then it should be possible to 'overpay' by £2.8m from the 'fees' pot (otherwise it would lie unspent) and to then afford the £20k - £25k per week in wages (I don't believe that we are so close to the wages ceiling for this sort of figure to be unachievable or unaffordable)
