Is there a security blackout aswell

We could pinch a load of shit cars

I would have thought they would be used to charge up git massive fuck off emergency batteries that can be used in such an event to at least power the lights?

You'd think they'd be self sufficient (Nissan) power wise. They lose, on average, about £17,000 per minute when something like this happens, something to make your eyes water. Ouch

Should the windmills not be powering the fucker up after a powercut?

I think the windmills have a brake device that activates during a power cut as you wouldn't want to be generating electricity if people are working on the circuit to fault find/restore power.

Lasted about 30 minutes. Caused plenty chaos mind.

IIRC, the windmills don't power the plant in any direct way, they're just connected to the grid and Nissan sell the energy on to offset energy bills.
