EE is 4G
Orange and TMobile still exist, but are 3G plans.
I'm none the wiser.
Ive got an orange account and sim, but when I log into the website sends me to EE and says my orange account is now an EE account.

Sim only?
What network do they use or is it their own?
Mine runs out soon and going on a sim only rolling contract, those prices seem canny, unlimited porn for £12 a month
they run on the 02 network.
Nee wonder I only get 750MB of data on my £32 a month contract...they give unlimited data to scratters
I use about 250Mb of data per month, so £2.50 is much better for me than the ~£8 I spend at the moment.
Yeh, FB messenger has voice calling too - tried it when it first launched and wasn't impressed. IIRC, you didn't get a "ring" if your phone was locked. Which is pointless. Probably fixed now, though...
Ah right, haven't tried it like. The main problem with relying on data for incoming texts/calls is you need to have your data always on, especially for calls. This will mean the battery won't last long.
I never turn my data off anyway. I'm always connected to either wifi or data.
I'm in dispute with EE on both my contracts, not sure if I'll win, but either way it'll cost them £300. f***ing idiots, they're only making 40p per month extra out of me with their stupid mid contract increases anyway.
I'd be interested to know how, TMobile have just increased mine for the second time in a two year contract. Its up in a couple of months so I'm dumping them. I was thinking of ordering another phone and then sending it back in the free jiffy bag under the distance selling rights, just so it cancels out the increase they've had from me.
Back when they sent a text saying they had changed their terms and conditions to allow RPI increases, I asked for PAC as I believed the change was of material detriment. They disagreed, after a bit arguing we reached deadlock. I went to CISAS and EE defended it, so it's gone to an arbitrator. Contracts are cheap enough so I'm not that bothered, knowing it's cost them £300 either way is nice.
How much battery does it use on standby? Mine uses about 1% per hour with the mobile data off, think it was about 3% per hour on standby with it on. I think it's down to the amount of apps that sync/push mail.
Not a clue. I charge it overnight and it lasts me all day.
Ah right, I don't use my laptop anymore, so the only access I have to a PC outside of work is my phone, so as you can imagine, the battery drains before the day is up these days. It'll last maybe three days if I hardly use it though.
Are Motorola Moto G (16GB) any good?
Thinking of that £12 giff gaff deal when I upgrade my old brick to a more modern phone (Yes I know there are better phones but being honest from browsing this fits my budget nicely)
Charge it from your work PC (usb cable) during the day, then it'll be fine on a night
Utter brand confusion was one of the rare successes of the merger processI'm none the wiser.
