We finished the prototype of one of the new 2016 Gordon Smith models in the workshop today. I think it will be a hit with Tele fans that want a bit of extra accessibility. No pics yet bit I will post some in a couple of weeks.

The GS range stays pretty much the same but with some new vintage colours and upgraded hardware, the Graf has had a major redesign, slicker curves and a new headstock. The graduate and Gemini are being upgraded with proper binding returning and solid maple caps. All the semi's are being redesigned to bring them in line with some of the Auden signature stuff - kind of a crossover between the brands. There are some hardware and electrical component upgrades over the whole range, new GS branding and a wider choice of pick ups etc. there's also a brand new model 'the Guardian' aimed at the younger pop punk type bands. Still starting at under £500 for a British hand built guitar...Looking forward to seeing the pics. What are the outline specs?
It was, in Partington. We've just relocated it to Northamptonshire. There's a batch of new ones going through for Dicky now.I can remember going to the GS factory with Leatherface to pick their new guitars up. Somewhere down Manchester I think.

Bit of red metallic paint.
Pics aren't the best like, not as pink as the bottom two make it, thats my phone.
I had it sprayed with nitro primer/colour/laquer from a guitar specialist , it was originally going to be Arctic White but they sent the wrong colour out so I just told the sprayer to go with it.What did you paint it with? Aren't those Gibsons lacquered with Nitro?
