I was in Roker the night we beat Man City in 73...55,000....the noise was deafening......you`ll never ever get that noise in the SoL

I wasn't there but its a overly nostalgic statement you've made there. If the sol had 55k in and everyone shouted/sang then it would be as loud, obviously.

Aye was about midnight I think. Had a shitty little radio pressed up to me ear and just said 'has he just said Stadium of f***ing light??'. I think there was a few kicking off at Uncle Bob and John Fickling at the name.

It was a bizarre name but at least it hasnt got sports direct flung in there!
