If I'm in a hurry I will play my safe card and grab a couple of bottles that have hints of vanilla. Noticed a few from the states producing these types.

Bit of a mixed bag you marra
I quite like buying some unknowns (by me), but if I'm in a hurry Chilean red or South African red is almost always a safe bet.

i bought my first ever bottle of red wine (apart from ones as gifts) today to drink tonight. ive nee idea if i'm gonna like it but i'm gonna have a go and keep trying till i find a good one.

I think it's an American Shiraz the one i got today anyway.

yeah mate, it also says lodi or something but ive nee idea what that refers to.

Hmm its nice but very rich. Don't expect to immediately like it would be my tip.

Rioja is the red wine of choice in the M00 household like.

What do you have to accompany your food like?

I was joshing man

A knar, you lurve it.

Casillero Del Diablo Carmenere, here.

All varieties of Diablo are £4.99 at my local corner shop.
£8.49 (ish) at the co-op round the corner.

Yes, please. 7 bottles a week, thank you very much.

I do occasionally treat myself to the odd £7.50-£9 Bordeaux from the Co-op (they do actually stack some very good wines), but for a fiver a bottle, the Diablo's a bargain.
