If moyes is available.

In over a year poyet, has not realised the players at his disposal can't play the style and system he prefers. The amount of time we get caught in possession or simply pressured into a mistake is horrendous. We defended yesterday with 10 behind the ball, and still looked poor.

We ended the game with 4 of the 10 outfield players being poyets signings with another Rodwell being substituted in the 2nd half. This is his team he has had a year now to get his ideas and develop his style and it is clearly not working.

Other clubs continue progress on similar and a lot less financial budget, but under poyet I seen no improvement in 12 months, people blame short but pdc apart he had backed his managers and probably more so if we found a decent one, if moyes is available we need to move Gus on, we are simply not good enough, nearly 45k again yesterday to watch that shite shameful.

That's not true tho. The clubs who are progressing are spending the TV money and transfer windfalls they get. Short is banking our and citing FFP as the reason. Also, we have never kept anyone around long enough to instill a system throughout the club and youth set up which is the other reason "lesser" teams progress.

Sacking the manager won't help fix us long term, backing him properly might,

Selling our best players and replacing them with tripe is gonna hurt this club financially

Not if we keep scraping survival, which is what Ellis has figured out. He's not much better than Ashley, though s bit less crass.

Strange article. Can't see it being true, more likely someone with a gripe trying to twist the knife.

We have spent enough to consolidate a mid table position, short would possibly back a manager who uses the money wisely.

We have barely spent anything since O'Neill was booted when you take into account the TV and Transfer cash we have received. Short has given up spending. I understand why he has chosen to do so but he needs to sell up or commit to long term and complete change in club culture if we are ever going to progress.

We have like, over 2o million in each of the last two seasons.

Do you know how much the new deal is worth?

20m is nothing in terms of rebuilding a squad as bad as the one we started with.

Based on the clubs in or around mid table we have spent the same if not more than most. In the last 5 10 or last two season tv deal or no tv deal.

Those clubs have a structure and a set of players who know the system which then can cherry pick players to add to. We have a load of random average players from various managers who keep getting sacked and the whole thing ripped up again. We need stability AND to spend a bit of money.

I agree but you must to, in a year we have made very little if any progress. What happens if you give stability and money to the wrong manager?

It's not just transfer fees, we aren't paying the wages the smaller clubs above us are. Money talks.

What happens if you miss out on the right manager because you don't allow them time or stability?

I actually think we have made progress. One year ago we were a team with no idea how we were supposed to play, no identity, that was certain for the drop. Poyet kept us up and has instilled a philosophy, even if it's not always executed well yet. The run of games which saved us are how I hope we will play regularly in time......unfortunately the loan players went back to their clubs, a couple others moved on and now we are starting from scratch.

I believe we will get there but we need to be patient.
