Pardew has publicly declared his keeper as not being up to it with his injury theory scam, and publicly said he has worries about Stevie fist pumps getting sent off.
Pardew needs to win this game 4 losses on the trot is unthinkable for him. Said it before but his mentality towards the game is as important as the players.
If he is desperate and that desperation transmits to the players then I think it's good news for us. The pressure is all on them and I honestly think this game has Pardew psychologically knackered.
Having said all that I'm never confident.

I'd be slightly worried if Ameobi is up against Virgini. Not that Ameobi is anything special, but he has pace and I can see him giving us some problems.

I won't be worried at all about that. Vergini is a clever footballer. Ameobi looks thick as shit, in real life, and with a ball at his feet.

I agree with all of the positive statements above however, the plain and simple truth is that we cant score goals and eventually they will get a sporny one...like their wins against Leicester, Liverpool, Chelsea, Qpr etc.

I know mate i have seen most of their games this season and they are probably the worst I have seen....however they are so fuckin lucky, that they always manage to sporn a late winner. For example we played class against Chelsea compared to them, yet they end up with 2 more points than we did. I fuckin hate them.

Most of their wins have involved defending en masse and refusing to get involved in a game of football,followed by a break away goal when the oppo pressed too much. We won't do that.

And I think with Pardew scared about not winning they will defend even deeper, I can see him being really negative.

They get a lot behind the ball as soon as they lose it and have 2 players who break quickly.
