Some dickhead called Tommy Turnip would come on every transfer window and post loads of riddles about who we were going to sign (because he was ITK), the main feature was always "Walnut Cake".
It was just someone messing about/on the wind up which people straight away recognised by the posting style rather than genuinely believing he had info, but it ran on for about 2 years.
Eventually we signed George 'sausages' McCartney to which the bloke made some tenacious link between 'Walnut Cake' and 'Walnut and Apple Sausages' IIRC. We had finally landed the walnut
Even then he still came back for at least one more transfer window with the Walnutt Cake craic and then disappeared
EDIT: Another feature was constant referrals to his "international office" (where he would receive his ITK info which he could only administer to the board in the form of riddles)
