Undercoat painting balls up

Doing this bairns room i stripped the skirting boards back to the bare wood and prepped the walls for repainting.

I took the undercoat for the skirting and walls in the room and have applied the “wood and metal” undetcoat by accident to three walls.

It’s not a bother to take it off but to save me a few hours can i go ahead and apply the matt paint on top without much bother or is it a no go?

Should be fine, try a patch test of emulsion, leave it to dry and make your mind up from there.

Btw, not priming the bare wood first?

Simply opened the wrong tin of undercoat by accident and didn’t realise till i went back to scoop the remaining undercoat into the tray.

Will be fine once the paint is fully cured . Painters often used oil based undercoat on walls to cover damp stains as it keeps bleeding through normal emulsion.
