We all knew the score here. He was second fiddle to just about every player in their squad but given the choice between playing for us in a relegation battle every season or being a spectator for LFC in the CL its not surprising he chose the latter.
 


Sturridge injured, Ballotelli out of form and Fabio is still invisible. Superb career move by the lad :oops:

The system we played suited him and us. Not often you get something that works so well. We both lost out but he probably won't give a hoot. All these young lads think they're invincible. A happy heart is better than a full purse.

I'm starting to write my sentences. A bit like. Lee Ryder. Strange.
 
Can't blame him for wanting to fight for his place but if he is still at Liverpool next season I'd seriously question his ambition to be a top footballer. Time will tell but at present he is looking like just another player who is happy to not play but pick up 70-80k every week. Shame because he looked like he had some talent when he was here.
