Why We Didn't Sign Ulloa

The club would never have sanctioned another wage for a striker when we already had 4 and play with 1.

We couldn't shift the ones we wanted to.

We were never gonna sell Graham, not without taking a huge financial hit on both fee and wages I bet, and I doubt there would have been many realistic offers for Jozy after last season. Him getting that hamstring injury before the World Cup was a shame, we were probably hoping he'd score a few goals and maybe get more attention.

We could have Messi, Aguero, Ibrahimovic and Suarez as our four strikers and we'd probably get five goals a season out of them combined. It's the Sunderland way.
