Do you just use it for eating out?

Nah, cash only nowadays. I think a Peter Reid era season ticket is still part of this current bill like. Just blasted loads on it years ago and paid minimum payments until quite recently. I'd hate to think how much i've actually paid off on it like.

I love my cards tbh. Loads of free stuff and I also collect air miles.

I was just trying to be diplomatic really. But I still say the credit cards encourage it, if you are that way inclinded.

We're encouraged to spend money every minute of every day to be fair, just don't do it. Especially if you don't actually have the money you're spending.

I'm not going to tear into you mate because I reckon it's hard enough but I like fast cars, expensive drinks and shiny things. did you not think f***ing hell this is out of control at any point?
Aye, every month when the bills came in. The plan was to keep our heads above water til the parents died then pay it all off with the inheritance. I never planned for us splitting up though, cos her dad's the rich one.

just rough harry. I still log on on a Monday to check where I've been. oyster and Lloyds is like my gps

Bitch

Can I touch you, just to see if your greatness rubs off.
Just a gentle nudge, maybe in passing on a busy tube.

It's quite worrying that you think I'm showing off simply because I said I live within my means.

I clear mine monthly so just keep a spreadsheet with rough running balance on it. I pay for any travel tickets, flights, shopping, petrol etc. crazy not to unless you have self-discipline issues. (I take mine out of my wallet on the smash now)
Not sure about the UK nowadays, but over here, paying off your cards each month has a detrimental effect on your credit score.

I just leave a couple of $k on mine, it made sure I built up a good credit score in the USA as I couldn't bring my UK score over here- I had to start from scratch. That was a very odd feeling.

Well done, I was however referring to your pompous attitude to someone who is honest enough to admit mistakes. ''Thick as fuck'' for instance.
