Seems unbelievably easy to snare one of these kiddy fiddlers.

As for posting on facebook, and damage done to innocemt parties I'm not sure whether it is right or wrong. Nonce gets caught by Police or by this lad, people find out and still cause him and his family members aggro.

The lads reaction to the conviction was canny, and as others have said he seems to have some issues.

Tough watch, but a dececent shockumentary.
 


f***ing gutted that Roger got away with it, when he was on about "it was an 18+ website" i was all pleased knowing that that wouldnt be seen as an acceptable excuse when the "lass" had repeadly mentioned being underage, really wanted him jailed like.

Also a shame at how many sentences were suspended. I mean FFS they know that these people were grooming young girls for sex, some as young as 11 and that it wasnt just some online fantasy, they were actually going to meet (ie rape) them. Jail time must surely be applicable for them, not a f***ing suspended (do it again and we'll really get mad) sentence, these fuckers will be back on the chatrooms within a week and next time might actually destroy a little girls life.

Fair play for the lad putting his time into catching these bastards mind. Its not ideal that their details go on facebook (no sympathy for them but as mentioned they could have kids, a firebomb could be flyng at their house and the kid could die) but hopefully it might make someone decide to make it easier for the police to hunt these people officially so that vigilantes dont have to do it.

Interesting programme but shocking to see how many nonces are around and a shame about the lenient sentences.
 
IMO that roger escaped prosecution by saying the right thing and sticking to it, that lee on the other hand who just didn't give a fuck, admitted his intentions etc got 3 yr. I hope to god those local to roger watched that though and make his life unbearable. And although she lost her bloke, ffs that wifey's craic was horrendous, "my son has been robbed the right to be brought up with a father" etc, aye, a fucker that'd gan and rape kids, you git bint.

Yes but you only see the bloke as a "nonce" who has been caught, whereas she has known him for years and never imagined he would do something like that. Not everything is clear cut in life.
 
Good on him.

However I dont see how paedophiles are inferior or superior to other criminals, all as bad each other.

Did you notice with one of them the hunter accused the nonce of sending pictures to what he thought to be a 13 year old lass. When he said that to the nonce, the nonce countered with he actually just gave them access to his pictures that were already online.

Things like that will let them walk from the dock.
