Birmingham 0-0 Sunderland circa 1993.
Nowt happened, highlight of the match was when a player was injured and Don Goodman sat on the ball while waiting and got lots of abuse from the home fans on the Kop.
He then span round while sitting on the ball and faced them. That was it, nowt else although Gordon Armstrong may have put a sitter over from about 5 yards at the far end.
Oh and a fight in the pub on the corner pre match whereby the bandit landed on me.

That would have been when we'd have been in the terrace behind one goal (Railway End?). I'll look to see whether it was a mid-week game as if it was I'd have probably been there.

A horrid place for away fans, one night match we were all let out at the same time as the home fans and there were reports of women and kids being hit by them.

Is this it?

22 January 1994 Birmingham City A 0–0 15,884

Previous season was:

16 March 1993 Birmingham City A 0–1 10,934

I was at this one.
Without a doubt the worst game of football I have ever seen.

Barnsley 1 Sunderland 0.
Another night game 1990.

Been to Oakwell loads.
1-1 with Gates missing a pelantee
3-0 win after relegation
4-0 defeat with a whiff of the play offs snatched away
1-0 win with Given carried off
2-0 defeat with Harford playing, on the telly on a sunday
3-0 defeat possibly Easter Monday
The sandstorm game
Pretty sure there are others too

Bristol City in 1994. Good old Shields branch got us in just before halftime. Finished 0-0.
Millwall in 1991. Persuaded me mate to go after we'd been to Barnsley in midweek and won 3-0. Millwall humpted us 4-1. Randomly they had stewards handing out sandwiches to us as we left the ground

Was a Saturday, think I was on the road 3 weeks in a row, Brum, West brom and Wimbledon

Was that where Bally played CM under Buxton?

Cannot recall any virtiolic abuse mind

Bradford City away midweek, Full Members Cup @ Odsal stadium circa 1986. Went down in my mates camper van. The brakes were fucked so every time we parked up we had to put bricks under the wheels to stop it from rolling away. Stadium was massive. We were winning 2 v 1 IIRC and in true SAFC style hoyed it away late on and lost 2 v 3.

Just beat Peterbrough 4-1 away, went into that with loads of confidence.

1989/90 Wolves 0 Sunderland 1 Hardyman. Class day out. Recall Gabbiadini doing the donkey's lugs gesture to Mark Venus and all the SAFC fans joining in.

One of my favourite away days. Warm night and completely took the piss in the "Christmas Tree" Hummel shirt.

3-1 mate, Gray 2 Russell 1 or vice versa.
That was the day of the shit incident for me

Me neither. We were opposite where the away fans are now, I remember thinking that terrace was pretty impressive.

Yep, in the corner

Ground was half closed? they still had that fuckoff massive end. We got tickets off one of the players and were in the stand. Had random tab ends and the like hoyed at us from up above for most of the match. Sat near/next to Geroege Forster that game.

Wolves only had half a ground as it was being redeveloped.

Beat me to it re the ground.

Boro away in 1993. Pre-season testimonial for Gary Hamilton. Fans fighting on the pitch. Then our new signings managed to crash their car on the way home.

Oldham away around 89, 2-2 draw?
Pissing down and blowing a gale towards us in the uncovered end.

Millwall in 1991. Persuaded me mate to go after we'd been to Barnsley in midweek and won 3-0. Millwall humpted us 4-1. Randomly they had stewards handing out sandwiches to us as we left the ground
I'm sure thats the game that we went down with the Shields lads. Got picked up at Washington Services. Slosher and the likes was on the bus and we all got off at Leyton and made our way to Millwall from there. IIRC we drank before the game at The Blind Beggar.

The 1 0 win Given carried off1996 promotion year ?
If so I was at that one.

Southampton 3 Sunderland 0 1996.
Coton broke his leg Perez debut.

Hearts pre-season 2009/10

Drew 1-1, about 2k away fans. Darren Bent made his debut and scored.

Mostly remembered for what happened at Central Station afterwards.
