How about meeting at the Lambton Worm? Cheap beers, good selection to suit everyone's taste and we can go from there and be fairly close to most other establishments.
 
Meet in Josephs. Free yankee candle and copy of star wars 7 on DVD with every beer and only £1.60 a pint.

A photo blog of the full night is needed here mind, except the toilet runs, unless its the girls, but not in Josephs, they're more of a man than most of us.

What about somewhere central but fairly quiet at that time of night (8ish?) Vesta Tilleys? (Black Bull opp Dun Cow/Empire for the oldies!)

Everywhere is pretty quiet on a Friday night these days.

I am on lateshift this Friday so won't be able to make it unfortunately.
