To be fair they seem like very good bankers indeed having managed to embezzle/gamble away a billion bucks out of the fine!
It's weird because that's happening again. This time it's not the banks but the governments hoping to fuck this stock/asset bubble lasts.
Actually they are. The way the settlement was negotiated the fine can be written off as a taxable loss thereby reducing there liability to less than 10 billion dollars

I'm trying for their institutional credit risk. It's hard though, so I've applied for operational risk and a few compliance jobs too.
Operational with added compliance is what I'll be looking for. Santander might be hiring credit jobs, not sure.
