Is Parry’s on Chester Rd. still going?

Nah. I used to do Mr. and Mrs. Parry's gardening. Lovely couple. Mr. Parry went 8 years ago-ish (I used to take special care of his memorial in the back garden). Last I saw of Mrs. Parry she was heading for a care home, she kept having falls. The kids didn't have the time for the shop.

These do hifi repairs , Sunderland based

No offence but I probably wouldn't, there will be hifi quality components in a Rega amp which should be swapped for similar quality if damaged, and I wouldn't be confident they'd do so. Needs a specialist.

I know him, he is a Marshall expert and worked for them for years. Not sure if he does hifi repairs

I know Steve very well too. He designed a bunch of amps for Marshall in the 00s. Excellent player too.

Maybe he can help, maybe not but he’s definitely capable.
