The BBC employs loads of people who are politically right of centre without a problem. Most of their most senior political editors at the moment for a start. It was only ever Clarkson's twattish behaviour that was a problem. Unfortunately for the BBC it was also his twattish behaviour that made Top Gear such a successful programme

he and his pals will simply move channel, copy the format and sell it around the world and the bbc will lose out as nobody will want the 'new' top gear from them

they will try one series and cancel it as no bugger will watch it..or they try to continue with the same format with 3 new presenters and it won't work
