Jesse malin album any good? Loved his debut when it came out. Didn't get into the heat and heard nothing since that time. Might be time to give him a second chance.

First couple of listens I wasn't that impressed, but I'm getting into it now. Agree with you on the heat. His third album, glitter in the gutter is very good like.

Thoughts on Slug? I know its getting a lot of interest but I can't really get away with it. Comes across as show off music. Is it worth persisting with?

Not really my cup of tea if I'm honest. I won't give up on it just yet though as there's a few things on there I like. The main reason I bought it though, was because I went to school with Ian and wanted to support his efforts.
