Name Our Moon

Ok - I get when the only moon we knew about was called , well , The Moon.

Other planets have moons with exotic names like Ganymede, Oberon and Titan so it’s time we gave ours a name.

Its one of those ones where half the rivers are named for a ancient local dialect for river. So they're all called River river

Luna, I suppose would be the best name for our moon. Of course, we didn't know other moons existed when we named ours.

It already has a name. The discovery of other moons led to its name being used more broadly to refer to any natural satellite of a planet.
