Not sure what it is about our office but I seem to get one from anything metal.
Bloody door handle is the worst.

Anyone else find this problem? Probably due to my sexual magnetism...

universal studios promo for the new spiderman film. They're going round adding static to door handles, the bastards.
 
In the bathroom at my parents caravan, the window is next to the toilet and opens out over the decking. I was able to crawl along the decking and stealthily put my hand in the window while going "raaaaarrrrrrr". That gave my Mam a static shock while she was on the toilet.

So the metal handles give you a big shock but the wood on the door will slowly discharge the static?

I haven't had a good static shock for a good few months I think I could get a buzz from regular big shocks.

I get one from pressing the buttons on the lift. It's horrid.
