Anybody think we will stay up?

I think we reek of relegation. The one caveat being that I think our manager might be good enough to hoodwink 6 points out of somewhere.
Our only hope is that Dick has some kind of plan B that works for two games. No evidence that we can win two more games on current form.

It's normally the 3 worst teams over the season and on the evidence I've witnessed at the SOL (apart from the mag game) then we will be getting relegated.

I won't be surprised either way tbh.

All it takes is a win against either Stoke or Southampton (not exactly impossible), and things look a lot different.

Absolute certainties for the drop and have been sice xmas. 10/11 for us to stay up is buying money for the bookies , i would want at least 5/1 to put any money on.

I honestly think we will go this year. Haven't learnt our lesson from the past 3 seasons or so and have consistently sold better players and replaced them with worse.

18th Sunderland
19th Burnley
20th QPR

Really do hope I'm wrong though. The championship is a shite standard. People say it's a difficult league and in a sense yes it is. However that's more to do with the fact that the top 15 teams are on the same level of average to shite than any of them actually being top notch. No disrespect to Bournemouth but the squad they have shouldn't be anywhere near winning that league when you look at some of the clubs and budgets that they will have. If we went down, it's not a given that we will bounce back in a season or two like we have previously.

Pretty much how I feel tbh. There's no doubt in my mind that we deserve to get relegated, but we can stay up, and really I think that Burnley and QPR, with only 5 games left each, and three points off safety, are in more trouble than us. Burnley have ran out of steam and haven't scored a goal in ages. QPR have to go to Liverpool, Man City and Leicester and have only two home games left, so I don't see where they are getting enough points from (even two home wins against West Ham and Newcastle only takes them to 32 points). Hull are in bad form and their run in is horrific - Liverpool, Arsenal, and Man Utd are three of their last four home fixtures, they have to go to Palace and Spurs, and even if they beat Burnley, that won't save them.

Even now, we have a better run in than any of the teams below us apart from Leicester. 6 points will save us, and 4 or 5 might too. I think Advocaat will find a way to get those. Unfortunately, for months after it was obvious Poyet was a dead man walking, we still laboured on in Ellis Short's mistaken belief that we didn't need to act, while Palace, Villa, and WBA were saving their skins by acting earlier.

What I'm certain of is that we'll do fuck all to help ourselves. Completely dependent on those below us.

I can't see it now but interested how many do.

Leicester will stay up, they have mags at home which is a cert and qpr at home.

I think it will be either us or qpr who go down with Burnley and Hull.

Still not sure

I think Palace were the worst possible team would could of faced, so I am writing that one off slightly

We need to win 2 of the next 3, not out of the realms

It is not guaranteed Leicester are going to win these games mind, there is a reason they have been in the bottom 3 all season
