I'll try Marra, quite busy at the moment, managed to get the catering contract of the pub, (where Gerald, (poster name Gatesheed), use to work before his conviction), opposite the chippie here, so am snowed under as they say. Hopefully, i can do a good job over the next year and make some £££.

You have a chippie ? How cool is that. I have only had fish'n'chips twice in my life. The first time, many moons ago, was in Newcastle somewhere where I had gone to see a few local sights on one of my first ever trips to the NE. Sat on a bench in the sun somewhere and enjoyed Life when a lad walked up to me, stopped for a brief moment, took a chip out of the bag, said 'ta' and walked on. I was pretty bamboozled by that to say the least. Only for a second lad to come up to me and do the same thing a few minutes later haha To this day I still don't know if it is some sort of tradition in Newcastle to walk up to complete strangers and grab a sneaky chip out of someone's bag of chips.

Talking chippies, you may be able to fix something for me that has been a mystery to me for some time now. The saying 'cheesy chips', and I know I am probably asking something proper stupid, sorry, but does 'cheesy chips' actually mean what it sounds like ? Chips with cheese ?

Before his conviction?

Loads of internet weirdo/keyboard warriors meeting up in real life???!!??? Wow. This will be a site to behold. Strings vests and y fronts being ironed all across the n.e as we speak

So let's say Friday. Now to find a time and a starting point pub. Mux' suggestion of one of the central ones seems like a good idea to me.
