Decent back row though. Well, defending anyway. Not particularly mobile. Just like the others in the back row.
Problem is even he doesn't know if he's a 6 or 7.

His captaincy of the side is one of continual failure. Remember that Wales game when we were going for the grand slam.

He was like a rabbit in the headlights

Typical RFU man opinion on Cips I'm afraid. It's time to bring him back into the fold.
Liability. Not good enough at kicking imo either.

His decision making has stood out as shit. Consistently bad.

Although I think a younger side would be a better one, and in a close call between two players I would chose the younger one, I hope we move away from everything always being about the next world cup.

It would be nice to win the 6 Nations and god forbid a grand slam occasionally.

And a team used to winning would do better in the world cup anyway.

You don't have to appoint coaches for four year blocks only.

I feel for ford. Lancaster made him the scapegoat by dropping him against Wales
Did the same to twelvetrees after he had a blinder v Scotland. Dropped him and shit his confidence to bits. Turns out 36 wasn't all that good like but you get my point :)

Cockerill for me. Only Englishman out there who is good enough.

Other than that we need to look at a foreign coach
In what way? I watched the SH competition and they seem to be quicker around the pack well the aussies and NZ and the back rows seem to have more about them than ours. Though i think our pack is pretty good. Seemed to me last night that we ran into blind ally's first half. What can we do different to compete with those 2? Do we have the players?

Who would you bring in and why?

Baxter from Exeter or Cockerill from Leicester. Shaun Edwards to be the defence coach. Not sure about Catt as attack coach. If those who know better than us see that he's good and it's the Farrell-Lancaster axis limiting the backs he should stay.

Cockerill would hopefully ensure we build a powerful competitive pack and let the backs coaches get on with setting us up to use all the great quick ball he's going to deliver.

Baxter just impresses me all round with what he's done with Exeter
