Not a soul on this earth can argue that Led Zep and Pink Floyd weren't and still are two of the biggest bands the world has ever seen,both of that era.

When The Levee Breaks was on the radio today. It still sounds unbelievably good.

My cousin told me years before that Freddie Mercury and Kenny Everett were an 'item' - so, sadly, I wasn't surprised. A fantastic performer - Queen / Mercury have an incredible legacy.

Excellent in the early days when Queen were still a hard rock band. Terminally dull in the late 70s. Made a huge comeback in the mid 80s and became a national icon. Very sad to hear that such a talented bloke died so young.

My best mate was devastated though as they were/are his favourite band.



Just googled rock music from that specific date & apparently this iconic image was taken that very day.
Kurt was a Queen fan as a child & even mentioned Mercury in his suicide note.
