Did this guy only get 16 year for killing 2 people?

It appears so and was out in 8.
Appreciate rules are rules (however lenient they may appear) but to serve only 8 years for killing two people is incredibly lenient imho.

The 16 year sentence was for his previous terrorist offences: plans to bomb the London Stock Exchange and other places plus set up a training camp. He was shot dead after killing two people. The article isn’t very well written in that regard.
