checked it out on facebook, looks ok to me, still a bar. Board outside says real ale, coffee, scotch eggs, wine , gins.

Just to confirm I popped in a couple of days ago. It is still a pub. Great beer in there as well.

Black Bull, Wheatsheaf and Angel all checked out. All pretty good. Great range of beers in the Angel and a decent price.

Was in on Saturday and was pleasantly surprised. Much better layout.

This. Just seems they've added in a few snacks and tea offerings.

was looking to go last Saturday but was doing some research and duffed it, didnt think Wheatsheaf was open, and Golden Lion had just been taken over and looked as though might not be open.

Didn’t go to the wheatsheaf but the Lion was canny, if a little quiet. The black bill and blue bell were very busy as was the Angel for dinner.
