You cant fine clubs PL points under Championship rules though............

And bear in mind the fine is only if they go up where their income goes through the roof..........

If you don't go up and don't cover the losses its not a fine but a transfer embargo........

Its a bit shit that. So QPR can still spend at will to get promoted, yet Forest have their hands tied behind their back. Despite QPR benefiting from the income of the Premier League for a season.

No because if they do that and exceed losses of £8 million and go up they will get fined.........the original idea was to take some of their riches off them and the fine go to charity......the nature of the fine QPR should have had though had clearly never been envisaged by those who drew up the rules.......

It was never to fine clubs who stay down but exceed the losses as that obviously can just compound the problem.............
