Just read the second book and he (Dave Kitson) seems to have a few little digs at us from around the Keane era.

Mentions the Reading match day spat over Halford, the part time manager craic and Anthony Stokes failure to live up to expectations.

As well as this he keeps mentioning us when he's naming an example of a lesser/shit club.

Any reason for a grudge with us or Keane? He does come across like a dick at times in his book mind.

That's amusing. He could have taken his pick from any of the clubs he ever played for. Sunderland would have been the pinnacle of his career if he'd ever been good enough to play for us. But he wasn't.

A deal was in the offing (secret), but someone at the club changed the terms (secret), there was interest from another club (secret), and someone's daughter was shagging someone (secret), this scuppered the deal, BUT a new club sniffes around (in secret), and offered more money (secret).

Other than that, fuck knows, it was all kept secret iirc.
