Three Weaker Teams

I actually think Villa will do OK, have an experienced back four, and Richardson and N'Zogbia will add even more pace to their counter attacks from midfield.

I have. If we stick to a seige mentality from the outset i think we could scrape through.
Not every team is Man City or Chelsea. I do believe there are three worse than us. Hopefully our experience will just about outpoint their initial optimism by the end.
Not much enjoyment to our season here well.

Definitely, it's the home games we failed to win last season that need addressing more than anything
We failed to beat Fulham, Villa, Hull, Palace, West Ham, Swansea and Norwich at home last season didn't we? That's the majority of the bottom half we either lost to or only got a point off, not only hindering ourselves but handing out points to the teams around us. If we do that again this season we'll be in trouble.

I'm not sure if all those teams are weaker than us mind. I think you're hoping more than believing.

Id say Palace without Pulis are a weaker team, Burnley looked poor defensively the other night and Leicester too.

Qpr seem to be spending more money they haven't got on players again.

Same for me. Pulis leaving could be a bonus, unless he joins Burnley or Leicester, then we're f**ked.:):):)
The problem is it's usual to expect the promoted teams to go straight back down but that didn't happen last year. I'd hoped Hull would suffer second season syndrome but they've got some half decent players now so nothing's guaranteed. QPR could literally go either way but sooner or later if they spend money the players will come good.

Despite not being as strong as we were last season i've had a good look and i actually think there's three worse teams than us. So, although we've stepped backwards it could also be argued we've stepped forwards.

I won't name the three in case it jinx's us but i'm quite optimistic that the Ellis Short Hollywood Blockbuster can plod on for another year.
Could name 7 or 8

I fancy us for 10th. Usually would be classed as a slight pessimist but I have a good feeling about this season. That all depends on our first choice 15-16 players staying fit though as we really have no strength in depth. Especially in defence.

I don't know where we'll end up but being subjective can you see eight worse teams than us?
I'll go:
Burnley ( Bye then....)
Leicester (.. and thanks for coming)
QPR (harry is finished)
Palace ( too much for Mackay to do)
WBA (all downhill from Sat)
WHU ( too much boardroom angst)
Villa ( freefallin')
Hull ( he never lasts long anywhere)

Then I think we are close with Southampton Swansea Stoke and Newcastle.

I can't see us within 15 points of the top seven.

Hello, this is 2011. Can we have our players back please?

There was 6 worse than us last year with a 7 game head start.

Think we can make the top 12 but at the moment with our squad we are 1/2 injuries away from disaster

Why do you f***ing bother?

I doubt we'll go down but it's not hard to see that a couple of injuries and the whole squad's fucked. Defence is biggest weak point for me. Just one injury and you have Roberge or Diakite standing in at Centre Half. Midfield is fit for purpose but striking options are limited and most of them could float out the transfer window. GKs seem okay.
