We'll do ok when we leave the EU, all our British owned companies will flourish once more................oh, hang on!

This rule has always been there, Germany paid more for years when the other economies were on their arses and theirs was doing well, didn't hear any complaints about the rebates we were getting from them.

TBF, the Jormans owe most of Europe one way or another.

Nah mate, that's not how it works. When we're benefiting everything's good, but when we have to put our share in it's a reet kick in the cunt. Keep up, yeah?

Read this

http://www.neurope.eu/article/germany-profits-41-billion-euros-crisis

and the difference between Germany and us is Germany has the Euro, we don't.

The Pound is in direct competition with Euro, and in reality our economy is with the major players in Europe to attract investment , there is something inherently wrong with a system where economic success is in effect punished. Its a moral hazard.

Germany has made 41 billion from the Euro crisis due to reduced interest payments and it appears we are footing some of the bill for other Euro holidng countries that havent been quite as succesful.

I'm sick of hearing/seeing this.

Can you please show me how we have benefited financially by being part of this political union ?

EDIT;

Sorry, I meant to quote this post :-

Ironic how some of the smbs anti UKIP mob are complaining about this.

But pretty happy to rip into UKIP for speaking out about this kind of stuff.

Only party committed to a brexit.

Isnt that the whole point of the eu, to look after each other, so the countries doing better look after those not doing so well?
I know its not fashionable anymore to look after the 'weak' but cameron should man the fuck up and stop crying that he has to do what he is legally obliged to do.

Ken, no where in business do you see a company being billed a huge amount of money over and above what they already pay in tax etc because they have been successful. The current Govt and I'm not talking politics here, have made huge cuts to try and get our economy back on track after the banks et al helped create this crisis. We have imho been moderately successful. France by way of example, with a lovely socialist Govt, have decided to ignore everything and place their head in the sand and arse in the air and hope. They are failing badly, 2 Trillion debt I hear at present, and still they fail to act to bring their country back into line. Now I'm all for parity, but only when everyone plays the same game. For this reason, I'm out.

How many do you want? Do you think Nissan would be here if we weren't in the EU? I'm sure people who work there have benefited financially, eh?

Q

would germany stop selling us BMWs and Bosche drills if we left the EU ?

Nope.

Q

Would Nissan still maintain their production facilities here if we left the EU with the additional tax and red tape that would be required on export

Complete and utter tosh. So if we leave the EU, Nissan will close their most productive European manufacturing plant and move it to a country who's currency is a complete basket case ?

I'm now waiting for the EU lovers to tell me that if we leave, Europe will charge us a trading tariff. Completely ignoring that fact that we trade at a deficit with them.

you're not getting it

if the EU put up trade tariffs , then quid pro quo there goes the selling of BMWs and Bosche power drills to the UK

we are not powerless

You haven't answered the question. EXPORTING out of a EU county to another isn't an issue, BMW will sell cars to anyone who wants them and will price them accordingly to ensure they make a profit on that sale. That's how business works, and if the price is too high to import then people will not buy them, it depends on what the demand for BMW's is and if people in THIS country are willing to pay a bit more because THIS country has implicated higher import charges.

Now, will Nissan maintain its export production in the NE if we leave the EU do you think?
